The Purpose of iLesotho
Lesotho is a small country in southern Africa, surrounded by beautiful, unspoiled nature, and its people are friendly and remarkably kind. Japanese cars are everywhere in the country, and many people there feel a real affinity for Japan. And yet Lesotho is barely known in Japan — even people who recognize the country's name are rare. The purpose of this website is to help as many people in Japan as possible discover this wonderful country.
A side note
As of 2020, only three Japanese nationals were living in Lesotho.
About the Site Author
From 2017 to 2020, I worked as an IT specialist at the National Lesotho College of Education in Maseru, mainly introducing and improving computer systems. The Lesotho College of Education trains kindergarten, primary, and high school teachers, and has around 2,500 students and about 200 staff and faculty.
